Work started in November 2020 due to a generous grant from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund which means the restoration work is now complete. Our next project which began on Monday 9th September 2024 is for the decoration of the inside of the Church, construction of an accessible toilet with baby changing and one standard toilet and the upgrade of the handrail in the choir gallery to comply with Health & Safety. This project has now been completed.

The Annunciation Church is a Grade 2* Listed Building, designed by the architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, and built in 1905/06.
